§ 1 In the download

What you get.

config.lua

Every setting: box locations, payouts, cooldown, police and tool wear.

server.lua

Payouts, cooldowns, tool wear and police alerts. Every one is decided and checked here, never by the player's game.

client.lua

The prompt, the progress bar and the alerts players see.

fxmanifest.lua

The resource manifest.

§ 2 Setup

Up and running.

  1. Put the qb-copperthief folder in your server's resources folder, and add ensure qb-copperthief to server.cfg below qb-core.

  2. Set the electrical box locations, payouts, cooldown and police settings in config.lua. The three boxes it comes with are examples on Grove Street.

  3. The Bolt Cutters and Copper Wire items register themselves. Their icons are boltcutters.png and copper.png, so add images with those names to your inventory if it doesn't have them.

  4. In game, stand at a box with bolt cutters and press E. Admins can give themselves a pair to test with /giveboltcutters.

§ 3 Settings

What you can change.

Copied straight from the script: this is its settings block, the part you're meant to edit. The rest of the code comes with your download.
